Our core operation and the roots of our business is in the manufacture of small sail boats. In the last 12 months, Xtreme's production team built over 500 quality sail boats. We are proud to be among the top 3 manufacturers of dinghies worldwide.

Building traditional and high-tech sailing boats is a labor intensive process. There is simply no reason - because there is no real leverage - to build these boats in a western country. The Batam Indonesia production facility leverages high quality skilled and semi-skilled local workers. After 12 years, the locals understand the product. Especially important is the fact that the locals understand the quality standard.

The plant is designed around an efficient workflow. At the front of the plant, the management offices overlook the resin mixing, molding and final assembly operations. The final fit out operation at the back of the plant, is a busy room with a full time QC employee managing and working closely with a team of dedicated locals.
